Metropolis is proud to ‘blow it’s own trumpet,’ well we do have a brass section, about our experience as an international party band AND announce that we can play anywhere in the world.

Metropolis mostly play in the UK and Europe, including France, plus further abroad in Egypt and India and we’ve written about our experience performing at wedding parties, birthday parties and corporate entertainment. The utmost care is taken in detailed preparation, the best equipment and the most important part of any gig the people, performers and technical support crew.
Party Band Turkey
Turkey and in particular Istanbul has become a top destination for entertainment of all types and so Metropolis are keen to be involved and take our charismatic and popular musicians and vocalists on the road. We’ve written a page about hiring a wedding band in Turkey here.
Israel Simcha band Bar Mitzvah band
Israel especially the popular areas around Tel Aviv is another location that the band will be travelling to and performing and Jewish Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs. Playing at these events is particularly Joyous as we usually blend traditional ‘Hora’ music with modern tunes and classic covers from the likes of the Bee Gees. Have Brass Section Will Travel
You know, the great thing about working for Metropolis is hearing plans and being part of putting them into action. The top chaps James and Toby now have a wonderfully and aptly named office in Elstree called ‘Suite 16.’ From here they have been planning additions to the Metropolis offering like a Soul / Motown set, from the Flyrights, a first wedding dance lesson and lots more to come.
