Whilst studying for a degree in Jazz at Trinity College of Music James founded Metropolis back in 2000, and has grown the band into an International success story.

He is an in demand freelance double and electric bass player and has worked on shows such as We Will Rock You, The Lion King, Dirty Dancing and Spamalot. He is also an in demand session musician and has recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

With a considerable technical knowledge to he is comfortable working on both sides of the stage. Having also had a significant teaching career over the past ten years James has decided to focus all his energies growing Metropolis Productions Ltd as it is now one of the leading music design and production companies in the UK.
